We Turn Grain Into Something Extraordinary

Small-batch milling and craft distilling, rooted in the Florida River Valley. Every batch carries the character of place — from our stones to your table.

Our Process

From Field to Finish

Every product passes through our hands with intention — grain selected, stone-ground, and distilled with patience.

01
Golden grain fields

Select the Grain

We source locally grown wheat, rye, and corn from farms within the region — the same soil that has fed this valley for generations.

02
Stone milling process

Stone-Ground Slow

Our burr stones turn the grain at low speed, preserving the bran, germ, and all the nutrients that fast industrial mills leave behind.

03
Craft distilling

Distill & Bottle

The mash ferments, the still runs slow, and what comes out is clear spirit — then aged in oak until it carries the full weight of time.

Our Story

Built on Stones,
Driven by Craft

Fink's Milling and Distilling sits on Wall Avenue in Florala, where the Florida River meets the Alabama border. We are a family-run operation — part mill, part distillery, part community cornerstone.

Our mill stones turn grain the way they did a century ago: slowly, carefully, without stripping away what makes whole grain worth eating. Our still runs on the same principle — patience over speed, quality over volume.

Everything we produce carries a traceable origin. If you buy our flour or our spirit, you can tell where it came from and who made it. That is not a marketing choice. It is simply how we do things.
